Favorite Hello

The Stamp Market Paw Print die, Whimsy Stamps Irreplaceable Friend, Riley and Company Brick Wall

Here's a sympathy card I created for someone who lost a precious furbaby.

I did a bright sunny monochromatic color (memories are always playful).

Thank you for your sweet visit today~

Happy Birthday Van

The Greetery Happy Hippie Van die, stickers

I finally cracked open this Happy Hippie Van and used it to make a Birthday van for my daughter's special day, so I'm linking to Darnell's NBUS!

Up top is a miniature (doll?) easel set I picked up at a craft store.

I glued all the little pieces down so that her pets wouldn't snack on them. ;)

I filled this interactive 3D "not a card" with multiple sentiments for the birthday girl.

Bold Birthday

Simon Says Stamp Birthday Mail, Reverse Confetti (no longer in business) Layered Mom Confetti Cuts frame, The Stamp Market Ribbon Plaid Cover die

Every birthday, I take advantage of the amazing birthday set at Simon Says Stamp (email subscriber).

I've got three now and I love them so much!

The backdrop was created with the remnants of The Stamp Market Ribbon Plaid Cover Die.

I flipped the coverplate over (after die cutting) and dotted glue before placing on the backdrop.

Have a blessed day~

Monochromatic Boardwalk Thank You

Concord & 9th Boardwalk Stacks, My Favorite Things Cloud Stencil

I tried a monochromatic vibe with Concord & 9th's Boardwalk Stacks on a flat card (vs pop up).

I like it too!

I've stenciled the clouds in the backdrop, for a little bit of depth.

Celebrate Pop Up Boardwalks

Concord & 9th Boardwalk Stacks/Pop-Out Stacks Base

My eldest turned 30 ya'll!

I wanted to make a BIG card celebration which challenged me to give Concord & 9th Boardwalk Stacks (and Pop-Out Stacks) a try.

I did some homework and double checked the site multiple times to see what layers on what.  I printed it out too, because then I could lay it beside my project as I went.

SO FUN.

My husband and daughter both said "I can't believe you made this!".

YAY!!

I think every creator wants that reaction. ;)

CAS Thank You Card Set

Pooh stickers, Pretty Pink Posh Eyelet Circles & Stitched Hexagon dies, Lawn Fawn Magic Iris Sunflower Add-On die, Simon Says Stamp Stitched Dress Up Tag dies, The Greetery Bow Bookmark die (top portion only)

Ya'll I've been super busy and I'm coming up for air!!!

My youngest is expecting and we had a lovely shower Sunday to celebrate.

I got busy with thank you cards this week and managed to whip up 50 so far (i know right!!!).

I went with various CAS designs to accommodate these Pooh stickers I thought I was using on favors.

However, when the numbers started rising (men were included), I bought honeycomb soap favors that I just had to assemble with the bags and tag included (it was for my sanity, you understand ;)).

I wanted to make sure these stickers got used, so I brought out some fun dies (listed under the photo...you can make out what's what- I hope!) to showcase the stickers.

done (check) and done (check).

whew!

The One My Soul Loves

The Greetery Boxwood Heart Base and Details die, Verve sentiment

There was a time that I remember (thirty plus years ago...ahem) when red and pink did not play well together.

It was taboo to use both because you picked one or the other.

If I'm remembering that too dramatically, then forgive me!

ha!

But NOW they are friends (it's been ten years or so that I've seen it encouraged!!).

I love it.

I recently acquired this boxwood heart die from The Greetery, and I matched it with this well loved Verve (out of business) sentiment.

Simon Say Stamp (Wednesday): Add a Heart

DT INkspirational XOXO Bouquet

It's time for a new challenge at INkspirational!

This time the prompt is XOXO, so I'll show you the inside of my card first:

Concord & 9th Burst of Blooms & Pop Up Burst Base, The Stamp Market Say it Simply sentiment, XOXO die

I don't remember featuring the inside of a card first, but it really is the WOW of this card for my aunt who is turning 90 something this month. ;)

The front got some attention too, with a belly band from Concord & 9th's Pop Up Burst Base (what a cool detail they factored into this set! It holds the thick card closed).

I adorned the band with one of the smaller dishes from Hero Arts' Classic Casserole.

I didn't plan this...but I had to sit it up top or down below (because of the blooms sticking out in the middle).

Doesn't that little dish look like it's supposed to line up?

I'm glad that worked out! ha!

The Little Things Retro Kitchen Dishes Winter

Hero Arts Casserole Dishes, Honey Bee Stamps Inside: Thankful Sentiments, Ellen Hutson Modern Tags, My Favorite Things Water Color Wash Stencil

This snowflake stamped tag has been in my bits and scraps; the casserole dishes were cut in two hues of blue.

So I stenciled a panel with a blue ink and layered it on a medium blue card panel.

Blue is one of my fave colors, so I had to participate!

That's So Weird

"That's so weird!" my granddaughter has exclaimed the past few months.

I had no idea how many times I said it, until it imprinted on her.

It's what came to mind when I went free and made some "unusual for me" cards.

The first CAS one features a sliver I trimmed off a card.

*I've always loved these lively strips and never could figure out how to feature them*

This strip laid in all the right places to tack down with glue and top with a glittery heart.

Rainbow Splash Sparkly Hearts Gem Sticker, Pretty Pink Posh Sentiment Strip Dies

My second doesn't open where one would expect.

I had this foiled panel (nice and thick glossy white) that could stand on it's own.

The mini card was one I previously assembled, and first intended to tape to a gift.

It's a tree with a leftover branch and circle pops from a previous crafty sitting.

Bravo Girl

Hampton Art Rongrong London, Pretty Pink Posh Eyelet Circle die,Whimsy Stamps Revealers 2 die, Stamplorations Bravo die

If you zoom in to the inspiration photo at Just Us Girls, you'll see a woman peeking through a jagged red curtain...that was my direction for this fashion creation. ;)

I had immediately thought about my Revealers die from Whimsy Stamps and I haven't brought out these Hampton Art Rongrong stamps in awhile (fashion lady).

I stumbled upon these ancient Chevron adhesive cardstock and I wanted to slide that in too (adding glue since the adhesive probably won't hold on its own).

Thank you for your sweet visit today!

Not Most Girls

I love and admire all three of my girlies

(who are grown at this point).

God made each of them so special and unique.

One of them is such a fierce individual (when this character trait is needed) and this sentiment fits her to a T!
